I know you can't use one member to condemn a group, but....?

It seems like Islam just has an inordinate proportion of radicals. I mean every religion has its nut jobs (ie westboro baptist church) and i know you can't use them to really define the religion. But its just weird to me that there are SOOOO many Islamic terrorist groups (eg Hamas, Hezbollah, Taliban, PLO, Al Quadae, etc) And especially with those protests in London, saying ISLAM WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD. I know muslims can be as nice as anyone, but it just weirds me out.
