Watching this execution on video was sick?

As much as I sympathised with the need to bring the perpetrators of 9/11 to justice I found personally the fact that the president and his entourage were linked to the trigger man a bit ...sick!! Revenge is sweet perhaps, but would an arrest, a trial and a verdict in accordance with law not have been a better and a more civilised way of dealing with the situation? Revenge had already been exacted on two innocent countries, namely Iraq and Afghanistan for this crime. Hundreds of thousands of innocent people are dead as a result. Bin Laden was not in either country. He was in Pakistan. He did not have a phone line nor an internet connection in his house. How powerful was he? Was he responsible or was he not? A bullet to the head ends all speculation. Celebrations in the street and a reelection of an unpopular president......
