Does surah 8:39 apply to shia?

Why didn't beloved Prophet (sa..w) fight with the Munafiqeen. People would then say, Muslims are fighting one another...right? , Yes, The Fitna of Shia is indeed everywhere and was there everytime. Allah (s.w.t) have protected with His Mercy the believers and will protect us Insha-Allah as long as we live to Worship Him alone and follow the way of His messenger. But one of the problem with us Sunnis is we are differed over small matters. We should turn more to Allah Azzawajal and seek His help. As for your intention to fight is not a solution for the problems that exist in our Ummah.
