Are people who always need an entourage really just insecure and needy?

Well, that's your way of seeing it. No, they are not insecure and not needy. Some people just don't like being alone. Some people need to belong. The sexual displays are a bit exhibitionistic I must say. Look, just because people don't like being alone doesn't make them insecure. You shouldn't make that kind of judgment. They could simply look at you as being judgmental, arrogant and selfish to not want to be with people.
